What a weekend. What an unbelievable weekend. This is quite a life.

Saturday and Sunday was qualifying for the Indianapolis 500 and while race day is the most intense day of the year, most drivers will tell that qualifying for the race is there on the same level — maybe even more. After my weekend, I don’t think there is any question in my mind. My stress at Indy has never been so great.

It reminded me of when I first came to America. I live in Miami and I remember one day when I was at home and it was a beautiful day outside. But, everybody was saying there was a hurricane coming and I thought, “No way, these people are crazy.” Guess what? The next day a hurricane hit us and it was so nasty outside that I couldn’t believe it.

That is kind of what happened to me over the weekend. We had beautiful days on track all week. We had a good car and we had a car to qualify in the top nine, easy. But, then I got a little bit too greedy.
